I'm Aaron Sun, and I've been a hobbist programer for more than ten years. I am currently studying computer engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, but have since realized that I won't really learn a lot of knowledge that will be useful to me in the future, especially having a sizable amount of knowledge in the field already. Thus, I am looking for an exit strategy out of school into somewhere where I can actually apply myself and be both challenged and motivated. This portfolio encapsulates my efforts to demonstrate my abilities and interests.

Games are not only an escape from life, but a simulation of life without the potential consequences.

I have always liked computer graphics for the same reasons that I like art. It is simply a way to express emotions and thoughts in a beautiful way. Furthermore, I do like simulation of natural phonominons [spelling] since there are few things more beautiful than the things that can be found in nature.

I'm looking to get a job in the game or graphics industry, though it doesn't matter if it's for a big company or a small company. Each has its advantages in the long run.
